Skin Care Tips and Advice

Today i’m sharing some skin care tips for every skin type. I hope this post maybe useful for you.

One of the tips that i can give you from my personal perspective, is that:
  1. When i eat junk food my face tends to turn very oily, which increases the possibility of having large pores, this is one of the reason why i changed my diet and i’ve noticed a positive change on my skin.
  2. Always remember to drink water regularly, water is very important for skin improvement. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.
  3. Using the right cleansers, daily moisturizer and serum also helps.
These are some of the tips that helped me on my skin improvement, now lets get more into the skin types, ( i’m not an expert in this topic i did some research):

NORMAL SKIN

Is a term widely used to refer to well-balanced skin. Normal skin types feature small pores that are not easily visible, doesn’t have a great excess of shine and it tends to not be cracked or flaky, your hormone levels change for any reason, or you use a product that your skin is sensitive to, you may experience a hormonal acne breakout.

DRY SKIN

Dry skin on the other hand is the opposite it means that you skin is lacking oil. Try to avoid taking long, extremely hot showers. Hot water can strip the oil from your skin and spending a lot of time under the water can dry it out even more. Moisturizer is essential for this skin type.

OILY SKIN

If you are on the oilier side then your skin is producing oil which would cause the skin to get shinny throughout the day and this skin type is more prone to acne. Oily skin types should avoid thick, heavy cosmetics that can lead to clogged pores. Use oil-free products crafted for oily skin types, and make sure you remove your makeup each night before going to bed, and before you head to the gym. Make sure to clean your makeup brushes regularly to avoid the spread of bacteria across your skin’s surface.

COMBINATION SKIN

Combination skin is when there are two or more different skin types on the face, and typically has patches dry and flaky skin on sections of the face, with excessive oil on others. If the skin is combination oily the skin can be shiny in the T-zone, which is the forehead, nose, and chin. These areas tend to have more active oil glands than other parts of the face like the cheeks. Dealing with both dry and oily skin means finding the perfect skin care regimen that’s strong enough to exfoliate without irritating the skin.
